LENSS allows law enforcement officers to access critical information almost instantaneously. This ensures that they have the most up-to-date data when making decisions in the field.

We have designed and patented an advanced communication system that uses text and e-mail notifications to create near real-time exchanges between law enforcement officers both in their respective agencies and across jurisdictional boundaries. Officers can access and utilize LENSS with an agency-approved device and internet connection.

The system is designed to be accessible on a national level, ensuring that officers across various jurisdictions can access and share information efficiently. This is crucial for coordinated efforts in tackling crimes that span multiple regions.

Unlike traditional databases that contain extensive reports requiring subjective analysis, LENSS provides concise and directly actionable intelligence. Our Subject Packets™ accurately identify persons, associates, vehicles, addresses, telephone numbers, currency, and more using common identification numbers like driver’s licenses, state identification cards, SSANs, license plates, VINs, addresses, and telephone and serial numbers. This is particularly useful for identifying individuals involved in criminal activities without the need for lengthy report reviews.

LENSS offers the ability to create and update Electronic Field Interview (FI) Cards.  These field interview cards are digital records for documenting field interactions, accessible and searchable nationwide by law enforcement. Officers receive text and e-mail notifications for updates on their created FI cards. The system compiles cumulative intelligence, stores photos and documents, and allows tagging or forwarding to other officers via text or email. This ensures immediate access to crucial information, enhancing collaboration and decision-making in investigations.

LENSS can act as a mass notification system by utilizing Investigative Alerts. Investigative Alerts are push notifications configured by the sending officers to quickly share crucial information during emergencies, such as active shooters, armed robberies, bank robberies, missing persons, and other violent crimes. Similar to Amber Alerts, these alerts help spread time-sensitive information fast to any registered user on the LENSS system in the area selected for notification. Responding officers and investigators can send these alerts, including photos and documents, at critical moments to keep everyone informed.

One significant application of the system is in asset forfeiture operations. By providing timely intelligence, the system aids officers in identifying and seizing assets linked to criminal activities. This is particularly important in cases involving drug trafficking and terrorism, where seizing financial resources can disrupt criminal enterprises.

LENSS has access to Louisiana's DMV and NCIC databases. Instantly retrieve up-to-date vehicle registration, driver’s license information, and criminal records to improve situational awareness and streamline investigations.
